WIN Nebraska 45 Indiana 28

Nebraska is coming off of a bye week and Indiana is coming in after playing at Michigan State, Rutgers, and at Maryland. it will be the third road game in four games.

Players to Watch

RB Stevie Scott
Tackle Coy Cronk - if he seals off his side, could be tough to get pressure on the QB

Kicker Logan Justus

Position Comparisons

OL Nebraska
QB Nebraska
RB Indiana
TE Nebraska
WR tie

DL Nebraska
LB Nebraska
CB Nebraska
Safeties Nebraska

Kicking game - Indiana
Punting - Nebraska

Indiana started 2018 3-0 then went 2-7

Hired a new OC that likes to pass. Indiana does not have a proven QB though. But, they brought in
a gunslinger from Utah, Tuttle. two unknown QBs in Penix and Tuttle, but by this time, one of them
could emerge like Adrian Martinez did.

As always, Indiana seems to find good running backs, Stevie Scott.

I don't think much of the Indiana defense.

i think Indiana will be fatigued from the three road trips in their last four games with back to back road games.

After this game, Nebraska will either be 7-1 or 6-2. I predict Nebraska to beat minnesota but they could
lose that one. Either way, Nebraska will be bowl eligible by the eighth game.

Not that is likely matters but Peyton Ramsey is there QB and he started every game last year and started 4 games as freshmen, so they do have some experience at QB. Stevie Scott could be top 5 big in B1G this year. Hoosiers usually start out strong due to weak non con schedule. I see Huskers getting a W by 10 to 14 points. Hoosiers can usually score, but give a ton up on D.

Just what Nebraska needs is an Indiana with a pulse. They are ranked #25 in current SP+ ratings.

Not good. Obviously, we now see that Nebraska has two future losses in Wisconsin and Iowa. I am pretty sure Wisconsin can name their win margin. heck, nebraska will probably be another shutout by the Wisconsin Defense. The way this season is going, every one of the Riley recruits on the offense might just quit on Scott Frost the rest of the season.

Nebraska is 4-1 at home, maybe that helps against Indiana.
Nebraska is 0-2 on the road.

Nebraska has a chance at the wins with Maryland and Purdue.

3-1 at home
1-2 on the road (Illinois)

I'm thinking Indiana is a MUST WIN for a chance at bowl eligibility. I don't see Nebraska winning both road games @ Purdue & @ Maryland. Split them at best.

Wisconsin and Iowa can be the most vanilla at everything and will beat the Huskers up-front on both sides of the ball.

Taylor will take a commanding lead in the Heisman race after Wisconsin plays us.

Mainly because we will go 3-and-out 98% of our drives on Offense.

He’ll run for 290 and 5 TDs.

The college football fan in me cannot wait to watch Wisconsin play Ohio State.

May be the best game the entire season in all of college football.

Taylor will likely have a Heisman 'performance' against Nebraska, but he's not going to be leading the race even with 290 yds and 5 TD's.
He only had 80 yds rushing against Mich St. He'd have needed to rush for 100 yds in every game for a chance to win it. I do think he deserves a trip to New York, but will likely end up #3 at best. He's a great back.

Probably right. I do think it’s ridiculous how QB’s automatically get the nod nowadays. Back in the day if you tore it up as a RB you were golden.

Just see T. Fraz and how he got snubbed. He woulda won in a landslide if that season happened this year.

I watched Indiana last week and I watched half of the Nebraska game ...I’d go with IU... home field in Lincoln doesn’t mean much sad to say. We have seen the likes of McNeese St, N. Illinois, Troy...ect come in and not have a problem pushing us or beating us at home.....

Yea tough to say how good Indiana’s Defense is. They’ve been all over the place against a variety of different levels of competition.

They did give up 500+ yards to Ohio State, which doesn’t tell me much except for the fact that they’re definitely not world beaters.

Nebraska will beat Indiana in Lincoln. Likely to be an ugly close win though.

The letdown comes @ Purdue a week later when the Huskers get complacent again.

Not good, Indiana has a winning record.

Nebraska beat
1-6 South Alabama
1-5 Northwestern
2-5 Northern Illinois
3-4 Illinois

Nebraska lost
7-0 Ohio State
7-0 Minnesota
3-3 Colorado

Some magic needs to be pulled out of the hat by Nebraska.

Good News two teams still have losing records
2-5 Purdue
3-4 Maryland

Bad news three teams have winning records
6-1 Wisconsin
5-2 Indiana
5-2 Iowa

I actually had Maryland (+6) in a two leg parlay. I had Illinois (+31) in the other half.

The Maryland push defaults it to a straight ticket, so I'll only win about $100 on Illinois instead of $364.

Beats a stick in the eye though.
