V8 Supercars has also started with a race in Abu Dhabi

Formula 1, Moto GP & Izod Indy Series all begin in March.

I'm pumped!

they're absolutely FLYING this year on the newly paved Daytona track, 200+ mph. I hope Nascar doesn't implement smaller restrictor plates because of that.

I hate restrictor plates. That said are you watching the shootout tonight? I might check in on it, but probably watching the Habs/Leafs game

I have it scheduled to record, in case we're out of the house.

pretty excited, some new teammates, new point systems.

Next year they are going fuel injected!!

NASCAR, WRC and WSBK kicking off this month. MotoGP, ALMS and F1 in March. I love the start of motorsport season because it means warm weather is on its way .

That's when NASCAR lost me. All 43 cars in a clump until a brain fart and 25 cars are written off?? Yawn. Put the cars in the hands of the drivers.

Besides the real race already happened at Daytona. 24 Hours and it came down to a one lap sprint. Outstanding.

F1, ALMS, Rolex, and Indy (although I am still angry at them) are my faves. Going to the Indy 500 this year for the first time ever. And I am trying to get someone to go to the Canadian GP with me.

Living an hour from Mid Ohio and two from Indy is pretty sweet, BTW.

Ghost just set it up yesterday because someone requested NASCAR specifically. But he put that under a broader heading ("Motorsports") in order to be able to add others by request. PM him with what you want there and he'll probably set it up. Or go on the NASCAR forum and start a thread requesting what you want. There is a place for it now.
