Just watched a little thing on the TV about Juice killing Ron Goldman and Nicole Simpson. Can't believe it's already been 20 years, crazy! It's sad how divided the country was, something like 55% of Whites believed he was guilty with like 15% of blacks believing he was.

I truly believe there was much more than just O.J. in the minds of black folks at that time with the Rodney King verdict so fresh in the minds of not only blacks but all Americans and i'm sure some whites thought he was guilty simply because of the pigment of his skin, it was truly a terrible thing.

I remember sitting in front of the TV when news broke of the crime, saying out loud please O.J. don't let it be you, Juice was a hero of mine as a kid and we never want our heroes to be anything less than super human.

As I watched the TV in the coming months I came to the conclusion that O.J. was in fact guilty and when the verdict was read and they cut to the gymnasium at Howard university celebrating I couldn't believe what I was seeing, a murderer being found innocent was being cheered.

It was a sad time indeed.
