IMO Reads done enough to play on the 3rd line and Nodl has only done enough to play on the 4th line. I'd be cool with that...maybe they don't want the good press to go to the kids head?

Read has been spectacular on both ends of the ice with or without the puck he needs to be on the opening day roster.

Where did you read that he isn't ready? Every local paper has an article on how good he looks, and how Lavi has used him in every situation.

Bleacher report. I will post it if I an find it. I was very suprised as it was the onlt negative article I have seen. Daily new had one today that he should be 3rd line wing. I think he, Rinaldi and Harry Z may all have a shot with Shelly out and Nodl hurt.:horn:

Read simply does more than Nodl. He reminds of that little puke gerbe on the sabres except he's smarter, can play on the PP and on the PK. If he keeps this up he'll be a gem. Nodl is a good 4th liner or sub. I'd play Rinaldo for the feisty games and Nodl for the finesse...Shelley should be sent packing he's not showing anything he did for the rags when he was there.

ah bleacher report.. sometimes they are good reads, but sometimes its just a fan w/ a differing opinion

read has done plenty to make the squad.. he leads the flyers in points in the preseason for starters..

At this point I say Read has made the roster, no doubt. Id still pick Nodl over Rinaldo (I already hate the SOB) but Z would be awesome to have. Maybe the "Nashville Trade" will make it possible for him to make the team.
