Yoga, you heard Collins will retire after the season?

They're looking at maybe bringing in Robin Ventura. Couple other names mentioned were Alex Cora, Bob Geren, and hitting coach Kevin Long

Yeah I heard.....I'm not surprised.
Just wish he would've stepped down or been let go months ago, but I also understand why they kept him on.

Good luck to TC.

FTR: I'm okay with any of those 4...but I'd prefer Ventura or Geren.
Cora in a coaching capacity would work imho...ie: Infield +/or 3B coach.
Maybe some other candidates will emerge during the offseason?

LOL...yeah, I just got that alert this morning on my phone.

Nice Try, Terry. If the team is already talking about replacement candidates, you are GONE.

And what point is there to keeping him? The team is nowhere near competing for a playoff spot, Does he think he's going to get another 6-7 years while they put together a contender?

He had his 2015. Sucks for him that they didn't win it, but there are other, better managers than him in Baseball history who never won a WS, either.

Braves vs. Mets - Box Score - September 27, 2017 - ESPN

NEW YORK -- Terry Collins was a winner in perhaps his final home game as manager of the New York Mets, who beat the Atlanta Braves 7-1 on Wednesday night behind rookie pitcher Robert Gsellman.

Travis d'Arnaud drove in three runs and pinch-hitter Dominic Smith launched a three-run homer for the Mets, who won their third straight and finished 37-44 at Citi Field this year. They wrap up the season with three games in Philadelphia this weekend.
