- Totchkin opens the scoring 2 min in
- Zanetti looks lost out there. gift for Max Reinhart, St Laurent bails his ass out.
- Archibald/Schroeder/Jensen buzzing again. good wheels and smarts on that line.
- don't want to jinx anyone, but one of the goalies looks pretty good tonight.
- Harrison with two giveaways in bout 10 seconds. goodbye.
- I'm developing a man-crush on Connauton. Don't tell anyone. (though he missed bigtime on a hipcheck)
- Flames tie it up on the powerplay after they get about 50 whacks at a loose puck (knock someone down)
- Max Reinhart is going to be a pretty good player.
- Nucks had another retarded couple of minutes towards the end, but it didn't cost them
- jesus, Schroeder has a cannon for a little guy.
- MacT had better remind these fuckers to show up during the 2nd tonight.

What's with the white helmets with the dark jerseys for the Canucks? Some teams can get away with it but I don't think it works at all for the Canucks.

Thanks for the link PH!

He's got you there, Puck. No man crushes until at least preseason.

fair comment. however, he's played his junior hockey with the Vancouver Giants, so it's been a slow boil for a little while now.

2nd period: (I'm a little behind on the PVR)
- nice rush on the powerplay by Sauve, Longpre puts the rebound upstairs 2-1
- Zanetti looks better this period.
- Nucks have finally killed a penalty, which is nice
- getting feisty now. A Nuck runs over the goalie cutting hard to the net, and the goalie sold it (pussy)
- and the powerplay counts, a carbon copy of the first PP goal. scramble at the side of the net. 2-2 after 2.

3rd period:

- Schneider with a power move to the net, clangs one off the post. He's had a few chances tonight.
- Connauton still feeding the fire. Clubs down Reinhart a couple of times and Baertschi within the span of about 15 seconds.
- Schroeder with another laser, hits the goalie in the head.
- lots of mistakes trying to clear the zone. that's frustrating to watch.
- Ortio big save off of Tochkin clear break. his boneheaded d-man owes him a beer.
- Sebastien Erixson looking like a modern day Jyrke Lumme (in a good way)
- St Laurent stepping up a couple of spots on the depth chart. not sure they can afford to use a contract on him though.
- Zanetti with another brutal giveaway, leads to the possible GWG

damn PVR stopped with 2 min left.
i didn't extend the record time b/c I didn't want to risk losing Zoolander :L I understand Longpre stole the show late.

Very happy to see KSL is doing well. I felt bad for the kid last year. He was the odd man out on the Sea Dogs when Jacob DeSerres was acquired. No other major junior team picked him up so he ended up playing junior A out west I believe. Glad to see he's making the most of his opportunity.

Do you think Anthony will make the AHL team? He's 20 so it's his 1st year of eligibility in the AHL but he could have 1 more year of junior left in him.

Canucks absolutely not. Wolves - I wouldn't call him anywhere near a lock.
I don't know if he has anything else to learn in Jr, which I guess is the main question.
he hasn't impressed me so far, though he was better tonight (a non-factor instead of a negative one).

He's been a decent top 6 forward the past couple of seasons. Not really a standout for the duration of the season but had the occasional hot streak where he looked like the best player on the ice. He's had his share of injuries too and was lucky to be back for the Memorial Cup final game. Could be wishful thinking on my part but I actually think he could benefit from another year in junior. We'll find out soon enough.
