It's not "official" until it's "officially" posted on the HuskerHoopla board. So in all theory you either incidentally missed a link in the chain of command, or you were too skurred for OU to make it "official"

It's just another game on a future schedule. The NU OU game doesn't have the appeal it did at one time.

Well how far on the appeal scale would you say it dropped? Which opponents would have more appeal?

The appeal of that matchup has dropped significantly over the years. I know quite a few people who feel like I do about this. Games against Alabama, Georgia, LSU, Florida, or USC would be more appealing, but with Bo's history against top notch competition, even games such as these aren't quite as appealing.

Considering bowl agreements, the chances of playing any of those teams you mentioned are much higher than playing OU.

I was really disappointed when Arizona beat USC back in 2009. A Nebraska USC matchup would have been much more appealing. That would've been great to see some revenge for all those whippings Nebraska had to endure against them! lol
