What did everyone think of their final games?

And of the way the acknowledgement of their final seasons has gone?

@MHSL82, I know you didn't like Derek Jeter's final season, because of the excessive attention and gifts.

I thought Nowitzki and Wade did a reasonable job of letting people know that this might/would be their final season, without receiving excessive attention. I think it is important to let fans know, if the players know they want to retire, so fans can plan accordingly to see those players, especially if they've never seen them before.

Wade said that he doesn't plan to shoot a lot in his final game today, but just let whatever happens in the game, happen.

I still need to watch full videos of the home ceremonies. Both teams had special guests.

Charles Barkley has a running joke about how disappointed he is that Nowitzki didn't take the money Barkley wanted to give him, to go to Auburn. Barkley mentioned that again at the speech.

I also think Wade's jersey swapping thing is pretty cool.

I haven't watched the videos in this article yet, but they look good. Allegedly there's a clip of an 18 year old Nowitzki scoring against a Nike Hoop Heroes Team featuring Barkley and Pippen.

Nowitzki scored 52 points in that game.
