It was announced last year but took effect during this off-season
Well they don't actually play in Phoenix and haven't for over 10 seasons
Yeah I know Glendale is a suburb of Phoenix
I would guess that they think they'll get new fans by making their name encompass the whole state as opposed to a city
It worked so well for the Seals after all
