Northwestern has a few good RBs, they'll be fine. I know of two studs they got from Texas, but they should be freshmen this year

Not sure how he was gonna be coming back from injury, but if it was to where he was prior it's a big loss.

Dude was a real good back.

Yea this is pretty big.

I had Nebraska @ Northwestern as a probable loss.

Not so sure now.

mark was the only thing that made northwestern's offense go the past 2 seasons. without him they were pretty awful.

so, where's he going to play? Houston?

BTN reported that Venric Mark stated he will play at a school close to home, so I would imagine Houston and Rice are prime candidates. Mark's statement also said that he has only one more class to take at Northwestern in order to complete his degree, and he plans on finishing the course and graduating from Northwestern.

So, he will probably enroll in graduate level classes at his new transfer school in order to finish his final year of football eligibility. I don't know if that means he will play football this season, or next season at his new transfer school, but it sure sounds like it means next season, since he plans on first finishing his last class at Northwestern. Then again, this final class could be something he's working on this Summer....the report did not mention when Mark will finish his final Northwestern class.

Yeah everyone will now be down on NW. This is when they win 9 games. Then next year when people are predicting them to challenge to a B10 title they'll win 3. This crap happens all the time with them. It only f's up the bettors.

they beat cal last yr without him

Better team this year, and he won't have all the injuries of last year.

We beat Northwestern and that springboards us to a 4-8 season.

That's the best case scenario

I keep telling you guys......they have a stable of backs JUST like him.

They aren't going to miss him all that much. The WR is most likely a bigger loss.
