I doubt the committee saw a Utah game this season, but if they did, they're way better than #15.
But they are not in the SEC so that costs at least 5 spots in the eyes of the committee.

I think Arch was hurt in the first month.

There was a lot of chatter about why he was throwing it weirdly sidearm for the first 4 games.
He never threw it sidearm in high school or last year 2024 with Texas in backup duty.

After the Florida loss:
He started throwing the ball overhand again.
Last 8 games he was 7-1 team record with 15 TD/2 INT & another 8 rushing TDs.

He put on a show today. He was a one man wrecking crew like Vince Young.

Michigan was the better team. Texas had the better qb.

Not even sure I'd go that far. This game felt like a brief summary of the 2025 season. Young with potential, but held back by coaching and young mistakes. Wink also shitting himself against an opponent with a pulse. I'm really not going to miss him on the Michigan sidelines.

If this coaching staff were returning in 2026, I'd be a lot more upset with today's performance. I don't question the effort of the players though, felt like they tried their asses off even with everything that's been going on.

After all they’ve been through the past few weeks, things could’ve been a whole lot worse. No sane Michigan fan should have an issue with it.

Diego Pavia is the team. Doubt they'll be bowl eligible without him.
I was rooting for Vandy to do well until Pavia acted like a horse's ass after they announced the Heisman winner.

Respect to Navy, but that spread was outrageous. Navy favored by over a TD in these conditions. Literally free money. Vegas doing a New Year's special?

I may be wrong. Navy is a machine.
This is probably the best team we have had since Keenan Reynolds 10 years. Horvath is an exceptional QB running this offense, and from what I’ve personally witnessed, one hell of a leader. From my memory, we’ve never had a receiver like Heidenreich. Newberry’s gotten the defense back on track since the Temple game, and Drew Cronic’s offense is the wishbone on steroids.

You can also do a lot of things, but you are never going to outcondition Navy. These guys are literally training for war right now, outside in all conditions working out with their company, everyone including athletes have to pass running and physical benchmarks every semester, they spend time in the summer doing rotations around different branches of the Navy……from the smallest mid to the football team, they’re all doing this stuff.

Put Navy in the pouring rain like that, it didn’t surprise me that the line went like that. Cincy was short some players as well, but we steamrolled them.

Next year will be interesting. Braxton Woodson has some intriguing arm talent, but his command of the offense isn’t there yet.

I'll have to do more research on their team, but in theory they should start the next season ranked.

Lots of graduations at key positions this year. Horvath, Heidenreich, Tezca and Howard are all out at QB and primary skill positions, and Landon Robinson, the glue of the defense, is also out. And while the service academies have largely eased up on going into the pros (TBD on Horvath with flight school) they won’t grant any medical waivers.
