Goldschmidt up for sale, but costly and can walk after next season.

The amazing part...they were high school teammates. That would be scary.

Sad to see Beltre retire. The mariners were stupid to let him go.

If its possible to make this worse, just think that they let Beltre walk and signed Figgins.

Beltre didn't hit that great for the Mariners, but he was fucking Babe Ruth on steroids and off the booze and gluttony compared to Figgins....

Beltre is the definition of how far an attitude can take you. He and Figgins do have a parallel as both signed huge contracts they really didn’t deserve. Beltre kept a positive attitude when his offense didn’t live up to the contract. Figgins mailed it in and fought with managers, players and the media. Beltre kept playing as good of 3B as anyone in history while trying to fix his swing (mostly approach) and he obviously eventually did and it sucks donkey nuts it wasn’t in Seattle.

Beltre struggled here, good defensive 3rd basemen but he wasn't hitting well at all, would always try to pull outside pitches and struck out all the dam time.... Then he leaves here and starts hitting better, go figure...
