Nola was impressive in his lone cameo appearance this spring. He struck out 4 and walked none. He will still begin the season in double A ball as Amaro wants him to mature and get some experience.

What a joke. What does "mature and getting some experience mean?" For braindead, it gives him time to go dumpster diving again and drag some roadkill in here while a guy like Nola rots in AA ball when he can get the same experience here.

Amaro wants him to work on some of his pitches. No big deal. I too would like to see him in the majors now.
The Phillies have nothing to lose by letting him get his feet wet early. As we all know Retro, Amaro thinks every
prospect should stay in the minors until he is 25 years old. But since Amaro cannot use a blank check this year it will be hard to block Nola.

Good, northeast. I hope somebody in the FO has the hutzpah to go around braindead and make a roster spot for Nola.

Nola appeared to have a wicked slider yesterday. With MAG and Williams on the skids, I wish they'd dump one of those retards and let him start the regular season.

Miguel Alfredo and Neris go down. Other staff laggards to be gone by next Sunday should include Aumont, O'Sullivan, Hollands, and Nesseth - ST ERAs of 9.00 to 27.00.

Amaro signs one Cuban and he is a bust. Amaro has been setting a trend for signing injury prone players lately.
Gonzalez gives up homeruns for breakfast! Glad he was sent down. O'sullivan barely qualifies for the minors.

I wanted explain what I said about O"sullivan, he may not be capable as a minor leaguer either. He stinks!

There isn't a guy in jvett's OP that should have a roster spot here or down on the farm. They all suck.

It's a bummer to think that those guys will likely reappear in the future for more shots at the big time.

20-yr old ZacK Eflin starts tomorrow. It will be interesting to see how the former no. 6 prospect does. It is said he has a mid-90′s fastball, a quality curve ball with some nice break, as well as a change up that has great potential.
