Nola allowed one run in 5 innings of work. Also Jake Fox continues his impressive hitting style. he has 18 homers and over 60 runs batted in. Hitting around .320 he would project to drive in over 160 runs in a full season. He needs to be promoted to Lehigh.

Jake Fox,32, is one of those guys who makes a nice career in the minors - 11 years, hitting .290 for a dozen teams. But he just can't hit ML pitching - 4 years ('07 - '11, 193 games), .237, .288 OBP - not what the hit starved Phillies need.

I only suggested Lehigh. However, did you ever hear the saying get them while their hot?

Why are you writing bogus info? He pitched 4 innings and gave up 3 solo HR's and 3 other hits ...only k 'd 2 and walk 1. Not impressive at all!

Go to readingfightins.com. Read about his game. Then you will owe me an apology!

Turns out that I published info on Nolas debut. The game you mentioned was his 2nd start. Now that should clear things up!

Yeah, I know what you mean. But looking at his record, it seems like a waste of time to try him since several other teams did the same. I would not be surprised if they brought him up in Sept. though. They'll try anybody.
