The loss of Noah Brown combined with Ekeler's concussion is a BIG thing for this team. They have to get Osborn up to speed quickly, and hopefully, in this game for a few plays. Here are the current receiving statistics for the team, perhaps they can eke out enough for the game on sunday, but relying on others to "step up" for the stretch run doesn't make sense especially since this is the second time that management thought it better to bring someone else in instead of relying upon guys already on the roster.
I agree. Luke should be productive next season, this aint Rice or that conference.
He's learning on the fly, and on ocassion looks the part. This regular season he's just not ready or as one mentioned the o line isn't exactly spectacular for making 3 reads
Perhaps, none of them are ready to go full on this year, that's not for me to say, but there's no dispute when looking at the results this season.. they are part-timers at best. At this point of this season, the team needs more than that from them. OZ and Dyami are veterans, they've become whatvthey are. Luke is a converted QB, who now has two years college and 14 games as a pro under his belt. He has along way to go before the team has to stop acquiring guys to play where some here are projecting him to be.
