Meh, we'll see what actually happens with the money. The patriots will fight to keep the money and have a decent shot at winning, depending partly on what occurs at his trial. I don't have every letter of the relevant wording, but there's a legitimate case to be made the "forfeitable breach" happened the minute the murder occurred if he is found guilty.

Either way, they made the right choice. If they looked like they made money off it (with jersey sales for example), that would go poorly on them. Also, his statement they had no inside information is worthless. If they did he wouldn't be told. But either way, he appears to be heavily involved in or guilty of murder and if it wasn't obvious they had a contingency plan in place the second this broke you don't know this franchise.
