These two teams have had an EPIC season battling each other. They win 107 and 106 games, then go the distance in the playoffs vs each other...never really been a season like it between any two teams, and throw in the ancient rivalry... They should do a 30 for 30 on it in a couple years.

Now it comes down to one game and it's as much a tossup as there is in baseball.

Great season. GO GIANTS!!

Forgot to even mention the two teams went 10-9 head to head during the season....

We'll never see a season like this again most likely

As much as it pains me to say this.....the Giants are a great team.

One of the best things about this particular series is that there has been no mismanagement or stupid decisions that cost either team a victory. The 2-2 standing is a great reflection on just how even these two teams are.
If anything ... Kaps decision to start Wood in game 3 may have saved out season to this point.
Whatever happens .... happens. We couldn't ask for anything more than having Webb on the mound for game 5.

It's funny how baseball seasons unfold. There were ZERO people who thought it would end up here ^^^^^ when the season started.

I believe that Baggs reported that in the 19 games, the Giants scored one more run than the Dodgers. That's insanely close!

I remember reading that going into the last series, or was it the runs scored were the same?

Hey guys....just a bit off topic here but check out this pretty cool article.

It's a look back to the old Candlestick days and the Crazy Crab mascot...

Anyhow....good luck Thursday.

Should be an epic game.

Since we don't hav a game day thread up yet I just heard the Dodgers are going with a right handed opener (Knebel) to counter Kap's right handed lineup. Presumably Urias would take over after 2 or so.

Interesting....

Its been an amazing thing to witness. The two best teams in baseball. Period. In the same division.

They are trying to plan out a 2014 World Series game 7 victory. Just plan to have the starting pitcher not go deep and have a starter ready to finish off the game.

That is interesting because righty vs. righty isn't that big of an advantage for the pitcher as lefty vs. lefty. I don't think this is a big deal.
