Louisville couldn't even win this game when they were cheating and getting away with it.

You think they have a chance now?
I honestly do. Chris Mack is a good coach. Liked him at Xavier, it feels uncomfortable actually respecting Louisville's coach. Now that Petrino is gone also, I just dont know what we're going to do in Lexington without our two favorite punching bags lol

But in all seriousness, Louisville has looked pretty hard nosed and gritty this year. They beat Michigan State. Lost a squeaker at Indiana. They hung with Tennessee for the majority of that game before the Vols pulled away at the very end. But UofL also didnt look great v Robert Morris last week.

UK hasnt been consistent....weve been working on finding our identity and building cohesion. I think the Duke ass whipping affected our psyche a lot more than the guys admit to the media. Last week v UNC we looked like the UK squad we saw in August in the Bahamas who dominted the pro European teams.

Louisville is at home, we have a lot of new faces who are going to face the most hostile and nasty crowd they will have ever encountered to this point in their lives in 2 hrs. Id put it at 55-45 UKs percent chance to win/lose. UofL can absolutely win today, as much as I hate to admit it.

Well, I'd like to apologize to the Louisville fans for @CB3UK getting your hopes up. And on that note, let's see who else left yesterday feeling sad:

North Carolina over Davidson 82-60
Western Kentucky upsets Wisconsin 83-76 (Whoopsie)
Houston over NJIT 80-59
Iowa over Bryant 72-67
Nevada over Utah 86-71
Princeton upsets Arizona State 67-66

And on that note, UCLA also lost to Liberty by double-digits. How many of these "bad losses" have I seen the PAC-12 suffer this season so far? Answer: Perhaps a lot.

12/29 recap (Part 2- Outside the rankings)

Huh. Despite the CFP going on, there were some actual stuff going on in college basketball in the Top 25. So that means I need to put the rest of Saturday's action in a separate post... again:

Saint Peter's over Hampton 83-80 in OT
Fayetteville State over UNC-Asheville 80-63 (Fayetteville is a Division II school)
Santa Clara over Washington State 79-71 (More bad times for the PAC-12)
Xavier over DePaul 74-65
Gardner-Webb over Wake Forest 73-69
George Washington over American 71-67 in OT
UMass-Lowell over Sacred Heart 100-91 in OT
Florida Atlantic over Illinois 73-71 in OT
Texas Southern over Texas A&M 88-73 (Whoopsie)
Florida over Butler 77-43
East Tennessee State over Furman 79-56 (Uh oh. Is the party over for the Paladins?)
Kansas State over George Mason 59-58
Pacific over UC-Irvine 84-75 in OT
Seton Hall over St. John's 76-74
UC-Santa Barbara over San Francisco 73-71

Did you see the ending of the Seton Hall-St Johns game? It was stolen from St Johns, literally

Western Kentucky is talented yet very inconsistent, if they win their conference tournament they'll be a first round opponent no one wants to play.

12/30 and 12/31 recap (AKA: What I was watching while I was trying to choke that new-fangled "Digiorno" bacon pizza)

Sunday:

Ohio over Florida International 68-66
Purdue-Fort Wayne over North Dakota State 90-87 in OT
Delaware over Northeastern 82-80 in 2-OT's
Alabama over Stephan F. Austin 79-69
