Now I am concerned. Wimbush going to fuck this up. I feel it
Unbelievable. This is why it’s important to have a quality backup. We beat Michigan with Wimbush at QB, and no Dexter Williams. Let’s see what we can do with Wimbush at QB and Dexter Williams.
The defense is going to have to step up. The FSU offensive line is arguably the worst of any unit of the power 5 schools. I’m expecting Tillery in the backfield all day
I hope this isn't a case of "resting" him because this looks like an easy W
I hope it is. Because if that’s the case, we could put him in if needed. My concern is that he is really hurt, and might be less than 100% for more than just FSU. Hopefully FSU doesn’t take this game as the opportunity to play up to their potential.
this is why i wanted wimbush to get some playing time.
book finished the game, so this is probably just precautionary, but rib injuries can take a long time to heal.
hopefully wimbush is ready to make the best of his opportunity.
I'd rather Book sit now, rest and heal, be ready for Syracuse and USC. Instead of him playing this week, against a god awful FSU team, and injuring himself further.
At a minimum, have Book dressed to play. Make FSU prepare for both QB’s. FSU is currently 17th in the country against the run and 121st in passing defense. It would be great to have Book in there passing. But maybe even Wimbush can look good versus the FSU pass defense.
Same. My issue is not Book sitting. It is how much little faith I have in Wimbush. Dude made home games vs Vandy and Ball State look extremely challenging.
Wimbush is 11-3 as a starter. We could be in worse shape. Jurkovec is not ready for prime time.
He’s not medically cleared. In fact it’s not a minor injury. He bruised his kidney. We’d be lucky to have him back for Syr.

reports have been he'll be back for Syracuse
“(Book) got kneed,” Kelly told The Observer. “This is really much more of a rib injury. But as you know, when we’re talking about a rib injury, there’s a grade that can go from broken ribs to bruised ribs to internal injuries, so from this perspective, if he had severe kidney issues, that’s four to six weeks. We’re not dealing with that.
“We think he’ll be prepared to play next week. We’re very confident that, if everything continues to move in the direction it has up to this point, that he’ll be able to play (Nov. 17) against Syracuse.”

Woke up to a whole buncha that white stuff covering the ground, this morning, and it's a 55% chance of more of it. Low to mid 20s forecast for game time. I bet them Florida boys are just luvvin that.
poor weather can be an equalizer. even though fsu is a warm weather school, probably just soon not have it.
I just think back to the Sun Bowl against Miami. Temps were hovering around freezing and the entire Miami team were dressed like eskimos. They wanted no part of it.
That said, it gets plenty cold In Tallahassee in the winter.
My biggest concern is being able to run the ball against one of the top rush D's in country - even tho FSU hasn't been playing like it the last couple of games.
I hope to gawwwd, we don't have to depend on Wim's passing the ball to move stix.
As long as our D shows up and can put the heat on Francois and control LOS, we should be able to manage the game.
Is Francois starting or are they sticking with Blackmon?
Ya know … I dunno. lol
Din't even know Francois was a question, since I've not paid much attn to FSU this year. I know I was watchin him taking an absolute beating against a team a couple of weeks ago - don't even remember who was giving the beat down.
