Why do I need to remind myself annually to never say good things about any Wisconsin sports team? You would like to think I would learn after 50 so years....
Dude you're still 8-4Why do I need to remind myself annually to never say good things about any Wisconsin sports team? You would like to think I would learn after 50 so years....
Oneil Cruz is banging too but less sustainably imoJordan Walker off to a blistering start to the season. .306/.372/.635 with a 187 OPS+ and 8 home runs. The contact rates and strikeouts are still not ideal, but he's not chasing as much and is making much better contact. I don't expect him to finish above .300, but he does have a .295 xBA and he's actually underperformed his xSLG (.654 to .635).
It'll be interesting to see if the Brewers figured something out with Vaughn, or if he was just hot for a few weeksBrewers get Vaughn and Churio back, maybe that will add some pop to the lineup.....maybe
We find out if the White Sox gave up too soon or he hasn't figured it out. I believe the bats around him will have a lot to do with it.It'll be interesting to see if the Brewers figured something out with Vaughn, or if he was just hot for a few weeks
The former wouldn't shock me
True that. At least they have some of their horses back.I guess we get to see what the crew is made of in these next few series, Yanks, Padres, Twins then Cubs. It's early for all teams, but this should test their mental fortitude.
Thank you, thank you.The Cubs are on fire.
Phuckers

I don’t know if we have the pitching in the long run to sustain success, and typically we’re due for a slump before the ASB.The Cubs are on fire.

It’s pretty crazy everyone has 20 wins except you guys one short as of this point.
It’s not usually this tight of division around 40 games in.
I like it.
Fair points. This tight 40 games in? No that's not that weird. 2 divisions are actually tighter than the NL Central (AL Central and West)
But this tight AND this good of records? That feels like that is unheard of
Fair points.
