Some notes from Scott Lucas.

Last June 23rd, Tyler Phillips walked three batters. Since then: 33 starts, 21 walks, 197 strikeouts. Given Hickory's exceedingly slim postseason hopes, I could see the Rangers granting him a few innings in Down East to conclude the season. They might also shut him down completely. Phillips has exceed last year's production by 45 innings and 203 batters.

Tyreque Reed: .303/.376/.556, 11 homers.
