Fitting, since compared to Metcalf, N'Keal Harry's career is going about as well as a ticking BMW.

Oh yeah and going back a couple years the Seahawks were going to make Jimmy Graham a blocker.

These are just a few of the reasons I have a permanent smile on my face.

Not very well. Quite a disappointment at this time.

DK is currently head and shoulders above Harry. He'll likely stay there. I don't see Harry improving that much in this offense. Maybe somewhere else, but unlikely

The only thing he seems to be able to get "right" is block.
Since this whole thread is absurd, I'll jump in with:
Harry seems to be a much better blocker thn Metcalf. Good thing we picked him over Metcalf!
TE? When called on to do more blocking, will the penalties disappear since he won't be confused as a receiver?

They need to move him to EGT. End of the bench, Guarding the water, Tackle anyone who gets near it.

Don't know if the injuries have caused him to become a puss or what? Granted he didn't face the toughest competition coming out of school, but he was a hand catching receiver. Now he can't catch a cold, can't block, losing yards on any run play behind the LOS.

It will be interesting to see if he's around next year to try a 3rd QB and 3rd system?
He just doesn't seem to get it? Like he's forgotten everything.

Big disappointment at this point.

Niether of them can block well. Harry's been wiffing on blocks left and right. Probably why he's getting holding penalties?

Very few wide receivers come out of college as proficient blockers. It's just not something they are really expected to do a lot in college.

I haven't seen Harry play much since I've only watched a few Patriots games. Seems like the big problem for him is he can't get separation on the go and posts. If corners aren't worried about you beating them over the top they can sit on the route. Not sure if that is because he lacks the acceleration or he is struggling to get off the line.

As much as I like teasing @NWPATSFAN about the Harry vs Metcalf stuff, the draft is always a crap shoot. And WR is one of the bigger variance positions.

I think what frustrates so many fans about Metcalf is that he was such a controversial figure leading up to the draft. Monster receiver with crazy speed but with injury concerns and that infamous 3 cone drill.

A good friend of mine is a huge Patriots fan and he does this big draft report and mock draft. When the Hawks got Metcalf I text him and said something like "I'm pretty happy with getting Metcalf so late" and he said something to the effect of "Terrible pick. He'll never make in the NFL". He recanted that prediction last year and fully admitted his error. But it was an error that was reasonable to make.

The Hawks seem pretty good at drafting corners and receivers. If only we were as good at drafting linemen.

It's more then just Cam's inefficencies.

He appears to just not get it. Missing blocks, dumb penalties and Cam was breaking containment and waving for Harry to go further downfield and Harry was like, ummmmm. TWICE
