Alexander might play but I'm not expecting much. Ford and Bosa will not play again, Kittle won't play. Offensive line still a mess. Should equal and ass kicking by the first team of the Chiefs.
Seems like every player the 49ers bring in comes with an injury, Alexander, Ford, Verrett, Bosa. What is it with this team? Haven't they learned their lesson yet? Both Person and Garnett are back at practice. I think Ford will start practicing soon.

They can talk all they want about bringing players along slowly and just being cautious but the season is almost upon us and sooner or later they have to start getting on the field.
Yeah, I think Shanahan is a competent head coach and I'd hate to see his tenure in SF end because he can't keep his players on the field.Apparently not. I've said it earlier that if this team gets hit hard by injuries it would not shock me. I am ok with taking a chance on a guy like Verrett but when they sign so many they run the risk of having a barren roster
Pressure on Garopollo tonight. I think the 49ers are in a really bad situation with Garopollo because the excuse is coming up now that it takes two seasons to come back from an ACL so if he continues his poor play from last year the 49ers will maybe believe it is just the knee that is the problem and will give him the entire season as a pass.
I don't think the knee is Garopollo's problem, he was skittish and scared last year before the injury. So I think it will be a very long season this year and they won't finally go away from him until late next season.
He's going to make a fortune off of that 5 game stretch of excellence in 2017 and good for him, unfortunately for the 49ers I don't think that was the real Garopollo.
we'll see, but I was stunned at the difference in the 2017 Garopollo and the 2018 Garopollo. The large guaranteed money comes off the books after next season so he will be around until then. If he's as bad as you think then they should have a shot at Trevor Lawrence the QB from Clemson.

The Bears, Jags, Titans, and Rams were playoff teams too with excellent defenses in 2017 and he looked sharp against them. He always had a penchant for throwing the ball up for grabs but when it works it looks like he is providing his man an opportunity to make a lay but when he threw it up for garbs last year off balance and jumping around in the pocket it looked really bad.Two of the three games he played in were against good teams. The Vikings played in the NFL game in 2017 and the Chiefs in 2018.
