what the hell is going on. is ND that bad of a place to be at. no way he should leave. he would be a 1st rounder next year. his grade was a 3rd pick this year.

i thought our offense was goingbto be really good but now we are losing players.

crazy offseason continues.

These kind of off seasons have become normal since Kelly has arrived.

i agree. this is like 3 bad ones in a row. i made a mistake he was graded as a 2nd to 3rd rounder. he was projected to be a 1st rounder next year.

i just done get. this one hurts. thank god we have 2 top TEs coming in

Well MAYBE two. Luatua seems a bit flaky on his commitment. Right now we have Koyack, Smythe, Weishar and maybe Luatua.

I guess it's not a bad thing with so many guys grading into NFL. Wasn't that long ago we were lucky if anyone was drafted.

Hopefully it will all balance out, at least Golson is coming back.

Ben Koyak had big moments during the season, I'm not worried about our TE situation. He should have stayed one more year though.

I agree, he would of been a big weapon for this offense next year. Good news maybe this helps us keep Tyler now. Shows that there is playing time available.

Good for him. He is going to be a great TE in the NFL. He would be a late 1st, early 2nd this yr if we had a QB who actually used Niklas to his advantage. Having Tommy as his QB hurt him this yr, big time! Good luck, I am praying NE takes this guy!!

Don't think I agree with this. Tyler Eifert's stats went way down when he went from Rees to Golson. I think Tommy usually spent too much time looking for his TE. I think having Rees as the starter this year really helped Niklas' stats this year.

Well if that is the case, then maybe he sees him numbers go down with EG and he is a lower pick next yr. IDK, I think the kid could have been the best TE in college ball!

I think that might be why he left this year.

As much as I wanted to see him back next year, I think he made the right decision. He is an absolute monster with hands. He'll be catching many passes in the league and is a dynamic run blocker as well. A rare, rare talent who IMO has nothing left to prove at the college level.

I heard both second and third round predictions. I am hoping that my Packers take a hard look at Niklas since losing Jermichael Finley to a serious neck injury. I actually prefer a bigger stronger tight end like Niklas to a guy that can stretch the field a little more but does't factor into the running game near as much. I take sure hands over a playmaker who drops some balls from time to time. The only tight end I believe they have going real early is Eric Ebron, Jace Amaro and Austin Seferian- Jenkins.

I'm thinking/now hearing higher 2nd round. He is truly an unique talent. Just find it hard to see that many teams passing on him plus coming out of TE U doesn't hurt.

He is going to blow the combine away.
