Nick Bosa Injury update: 49ers pass rusher out until training camp with hamstring strain, report says

He will likely be out until training camp.

Coach Kyle Shanahan confirmed the injury earlier this week but he didn't get into specifics. While Bosa did not leave the field, he did not finish practice and walked with a limp following the incident.

"I know it was his hamstring, but I'm not sure of the severity of it," Shanahan said after practice concluded.

San Francisco selected Bosa with the No. 2 overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft. The Ohio State product entered 2018-19 as one of the top prospects in the country, but was sidelined with a core injury after playing just three games in his junior season.

Bosa underwent core muscle surgery following the injury and elected to withdraw from school following the operation to prepare for the draft rather than finish out the season with the Buckeyes.

He should sit out until his next contract is due . No point in risking further injury just to help your team win

OP is such an idiot. He has a grade one strain. Hasn't played in a long time and just being cautious. But Q Williams and Josh Allen suffered injuries during OTAs. I guess they have issues too.

Why stop there? He should sit out after he gets that contract too, don't want to get hurt and lose money on a third deal.

For the record, i've learned to laugh at the cards with the masses....

But I will forever love the team!

Zook has many issues beyond not being a class act, but i'm no better considering I created a thread about the same subject 2 days prior.

However, I have some substance behind my post. I was relentlessly pounded for saying Bosa should not be taken number 1, 2, or even 3 because of his injuries and family pedigree supporting the claim. Not to mention, he plays on the niners who the cards will undoubtedly be battling for the basement spot. Either way, he could come back strong and never suffer another injury, but what fun would it be taking that stance?

Canzo - you are way too "SportsHoopla" politically correct. Let your inner douche out and and tear into some fools. I'll still hold you in high regard.
