First off, what's up? Sorry that I haven't been around too much. I've been on the mock draft section, trying to figure out why Elway gets no love from those dumbasses. Plus, getting old and trying to see my family when our schedules match up is a task.

Back to the matter at hand... I think it is definitely worth it to bring this guy in and see how he can play next to our guys. I know we are saying that we like Siemian and Dirty Sanchez for this year, but do they really? Foles has starting experience and has had success and probably won't cost too much in a 1 year "prove it" deal.

From Foles's prospective, he probably has the best chance to start here (or maybe the Rams until Goff gets his feet wet, but we all know that ain't happening) and he could showcase his talents for the league to help him sign on as a starter somewhere else next year.

I think realistically, that it could be a great signing for us. If he can beat Sanchez and Siemian, he could be a great long term back up for Lynch when he takes over.

Always glad to see you post.

Foles would be a candidate for the Broncos, but I don't know where the Broncos would be able to get the reps to get him into the offense. Without Sanchez or Siemian - the Broncos would surely get after Foles, but not now.

Can't stay healthy. If the Eagles and Rams don't want him there is something to that. Peace.

I'm going to go with a big, "NO THANKS" on Foles. Aside from he looks somewhat like Napoleon Dynamite I just don't see him as an upgrade over Sanchez and honestly would rather see the Broncos take their chances with Siemian since he has been in the offense for a whole year + now.

Agreed, the Broncos have to worry about spending money on players that would help this team. Not a QB that isn't good enough for the Eagles or Rams. The only way would be a one year deal that's very cheap and don't see that happening. Peace.

Glad to see you back fem. I've gone back and forth on this. In one sense I think if Foles had been here from the beginning I honestly think he would be top player for us right now at the QB position. At the same time this late into the off season means he will spend the next month even just trying to get down most of the playbook let alone building chemistry with our WR's. When you throw in it will take reps away from the other 3 who have been here most of the off season and are just starting to see the chemistry pay off I just don't think timing wise this works out for us to go after Foles.

No thanks. Foles is a turnover machine like Dirty Sanchez. Why bring one more guy into the fold to have to work with and spend time and focus on? Not right now anyway. but I might keep it in the back of my mind if things look dicey early on.

Is now a Kansas City Chief from what I hear.

Some KC fans apparently think KC "stole" Foles from Denver, or signed him just to prevent him from becoming a Bronco. My thought: if Elway and Co were really interested in Foles, he'd be a Bronco long before now.

He signed with the Chiefs a few days ago. I haven't seen the narrative about them "stealing" him from the Broncos. That sounds like something Chiefs fans would say, though.

Yeah the "steal" thing is commical because we never reached out to Foles. Foles is pretty much what we already have in Mark Sanchez. Dallas didn't even reach out to Foles after Kellen Moore went down. This is just simply a reunion with him and Andy Reid to be a backup QB.

Had we really wanted Foles he would have most likely signed here with a shot to start. It is apparent we had no interest. Unless Foles is weak he wasn't going to turn down a shot at at a starting job which he doesn't have in KC, had we signed him it would have been for a shot to start, but at this point we didn't see him as a better option.

Personally I just like having a backup that won't Tyler Palko himself if he had to play in a real game. Don't see how Foles fits with Kubiak's particular offense anyways.

Yeah. Really Foles is at the point where he is just a decent backup with experience. He could have a long end to his career being that experienced backup. May get some spot starts and even some "starting gig" until the younger guy is ready sorta ending to his career.

I'm just curious in what K.C. Chiefs fans think that? Names please. Thanks. Peace.

Yet to see one on this site claim that. Just a homer or two probably that you can find in any fanbase as far as I can tell on a couple of other sites.
