In all the years that I've watched and been involved in hockey, no one was better at delivering a clean open ice body check than Scott Stevens. He gave real meaning to the Old School term, "Keep your head up."

First of all, I miss Scott Stevens. A lot.

Second, I look at this a lot like the NFL hitting issue. Guys got sloppy and lazy and started using bad/dirty technique and now no one is allowed to hit. It's a shame because while some of those hits were...questionable...we don't have anything like that these days.

You know what I hate???? When a big hit does happen all these pussified players who don't know shit about hitting will attack the person who layed out a perfectly good check.

Not just the players but the fans as well as soon as a player hits the ice the fans start crying for a penalty.I may be devils fan but as a fan of hockey I can appreciate a good solid hit from an opposing teams players just as much as one thrown by a devil.

yeah man.. Kings are looking good.. its really hard for me to believe it. I mean, compare the Kings to the Caps, Penguins, Detroit..all these teams with star players. They have a great mix of young energetic players with some smart veteran players, and the chemistry for each line is amazing. But, yeah, I hope Parise gets back out on the ice soon, I really like that guy..trade yah Dustin Brown for him
