With Toronto out of action until Thursday's scheduled loss to the Flyers, this is a great week for teams to play some catchup/pull away from the Leafs. Get to it.

Anton Forsberg gets the start for Columbus tonight in search of NHL win #1.

Trade Bait Wiz will be back, Dubinski and Skille may not. Both a little banged up.

McIlhiney was not on the ice today. They had some young Russian kid taking full part in drills. Robert Rovski or something.

Still doesn't look like they've got much chance of making the top spot.

If the Sabres keep their current point % for the rest of the season, they finish with 53 points, the same as what Toronto has right now. So Toronto could drop the next 22 straight and still not finish last, since they'd win the tie breaker!

Oh there's no chance. Best Toronto can do is third-worst, and I think even that's a stretch. 4th and 5th have an equal chance of moving into the first pick, so that's irrelevant to me although obviously having 3rd pick is better than 4th. I'm just scared they'll take the one "sure thing" guy available that busts, because Leafs.
