Flames with a big 3-2 win over the Canucks tonight (Canucks look tired in that third period, back-to-back games to go along with 3 games in 4 nights).

Edit: Also didn't help that Edler left the game in the 2nd period and didn't return (upper body injury).

Jeez everybody in the West just keeps winning. It's ridiculous.

Atleast the flames/sticks and Avs/stars were 2 pt games.

Obviously wanted Avs so that was good. Think I preferred the canucks to win to at least get that tie, but alas didn't happen.

It was a pretty entertaining game (2-2 going into the 3rd), great pace throughout (very few whistles in the 3rd period).

Pretty much their only offensive talent on some nights so why not?

And against one of the top teams in the east on the road they start the young guy.

Anton Forsberg is going to be ruined.

This probably had something to do with it. Early in the 65 minutes of play they lose Gonchar for the game and Beaulieu for 17 minutes.
