This Flames/Kings game is kinda big - the Kings better not let the Flames beat them for a THIRD time at home - I'd like a nice regulation win for the Kings

I actually like the Panthers, but...I also covet some of their pieces on the trade front, so I'd like them to not win games and thereby sell. I doubt that happens though. They're pretty close on the wildcard with some games in hand.

I want LA to lose and get desperate and trade their first rounder to Toronto for Cody Franson. Thinking at this point theirs will be the highest value first round pick available at the deadline.

Carolina, Ottawa, you know what you gotta do. Get them W's!

I actually like the Panthers, but...I also covet some of their pieces on the trade front, so I'd like them to not win games and thereby sell. I doubt that happens though. They're pretty close on the wildcard with some games in hand.

I think conceivably, they could still win and trade a few guys for assets - they have the depth and they usually rotate their forwards every night to keep them fresh

The ones I envy aren't their big guns, it's a guy like Bergenheim/Boyes that I'd want...but I still doubt they move him.

Yeah, I'd take Bergenheim over Sill or Adams on the 4th line. I'd take Bjugstad and Ekblad, but that's not gonna happen, So I would settle for Bergy

Bergy is awesome - he brings so much energy and passion to the lineup - if he can stay healthy he's a real asset

I think the guy the Panthers might try and move is Tomas Fleischmann, more than anyone - he's expiring at the end of the season so if they can get something for him they would look at doing that

Bergenheim is up at the end of the year too, along with Upshall and Kopecky. Bergenheim is only a $2.75M cap hit too. I'd want him to shore up the third line. Not entirely sure what his cost would be though, when guys like Santorelli/Winnik have an asking price of 2nd/3rd rounders. In the Pens case though, doubt they move any more of this years draft picks. Already missing 1st and 3rd.

I'd say Tomas Kopecky might get moved too - I think Bergy is too valuable to the Panthers right now to move him, imo

I'll be interested to see if teams will be willing to move picks to get players like that, or we might see more big trades like the one that just went down
