I think it's more that other guys have been better - The other thing to keep in mind is that Bennett is still only 22, his linemates for opening night are 24 and 25, so he's still the young pup in comparison.

But Brad Marchand watching it is satisfactory.

Plus an additional 20 pounds of water from the ice (you can see his right boot section is soaked). And it never dried because those things were filled with deer hair. Those pads alone weigh more than my son's entire setup. And all that stuff protected about a tenth of what my son gets.

Thank God for carbon fibre and kevlar.
