Daly: 'Nothing new to report' in wake of new expansion reports

I really don't see a team in Vegas but Seattle is certainly a possibility for a new Western Conference team. Problem arises if they put a team back in Quebec City. Who moves back to the West? Maybe the Panthers could move to Kansas City. Who knows. Expansion will most likely happen because there is a lot of money involved for the league and the present owners.

All this because some hack writer said a "person who should know" said Vegas is getting a team.
The only team Vegas is getting is the Coyotes in 4 years, when the new ownership has to move them or be stuck in Glendale forever

I like QC, Seattle, and even Toronto, but Las Vegas would be a bigger joke than the Yotes.

16 teams in the east, 14 in the west currently. Put one in KC and one in Seattle, even things out.

Dan Patrick, hockey god:gaah:, thinks the Canes are moving to Vegas.
If that were true, then I could see Phx moved to Seattle in 4 years when the option is available.
This would allow two expansion teams in eastern Canada. That would give them a ton in expansion fees.
However, I think if a team is moving from the East, Florida needs to move.
