Lmao what the hell is Epix? Why isn't NBCSN the go-to for this after HBO pulled the chute?
I'd rather the NHL partner with pix than epix (lol)
NBCSN did that show called "NHL Revealed", and it was okay, but not that great - so it might be a good thing that they're not doing this one
It wasn't, but perhaps with HBO's production value we were spoiled with the 24/7. I was at the same hotel as the HBO crew in Detroit for the WC this year and having a quick chat with a couple of the cameramen they said HBO has used almost the same roster for production of 24/7 for both boxing and hockey as well as Hard Knocks. They knew what they were supposed to be catching on film and how to get the most out of their subject matter. Something tells me these Epix folks will not have that same ability.
Agreed. Really, I think HBO dropped the NHL because they were suddenly not given complete access, and that bugged them. The Leafs-Wings one was...well, pretty awful really.
It was easily the worst one yet. When the teams were first awarded the game, before the lockout, it was believed that Rotten Ronnie and the gentleman in my avatar would be getting lots of screen time to stoke their egos. Instead we got the fat man and the toaster and three instances of Celine and Stay Puft playing table tennis.

I saw an ad for EPIX this weekend (I was on ATT U Verse).
It's just another start up premium movie channel. They were saying if you subscribe, the EPIX app lets you watch anywhere as well - I think it was $8 US a month.
