I think 500 made some great picks, but Hockey was able to pick up a lot of old school guys that were HOF caliber across the board.

I really like some of the things 500 did and for his first NHL draft I think he did a great job but I had hockey as the other top 3 team, I absolutely loved Stan Mikita as a kid even though I hated the Hawks!

500s first line is GREAT. I love it actually. And he's got some wonderful picks spread out but as UK said I got a lot a of all timers at insane value throughout.

My top 4 defenseman combine the rare ability of having 2 guys with size and physical(clapper/shore), 2 elite scorers(Orr and Kelly) and 2 that actually played forward as well(kelly/Clapper) and all were known as defenders too. That's my big match up.

And I balanced my lines. My top line isn't going to pack the punch of some teams which was my strategy but Beliveau was a legend who played with Geoffrion(experience) and Kuri could score excellently. They hold the fort while my depth comes in.

Lindsay and Statsny on a 3rd line is insane.

Great job Pack for not being a hockey guy at all. I'm going myself.

Hockey Has the best Left wingers in this draft, that helps since Center is the deepest position in this draft and pretty much everyone has great centers(although I would say Hockey has the worst centers)...

But it is impossible to beat a duo of Red and clapper...

so I will go Hockey to win in Hockey(who would have thought)

On the subject of centers. I don't think you are going to find a list out there that has Beliveau, Mikita and Statsny outside top 15 of all time centers. Beliveau is regarded as the 3rd best ever ha.
