Game Thread: NFL Season Week 4: The Los Angeles Rams @ The Philadelphia Eagles Lincoln Financial Field, Philadelphia, PA, Sunday, 10/04/2026, 1:00PM EST

Another indicator of just how bad these Rams are, statistically from PFF, Dotson and McClendon are the worst guard/tackle tandem in the NFL!!

The years of poor drafts are finally catching-up with the Shitferbrains triplets!! Pundits are referring to the Rams O-line as having a Right-Side Problem!! They got Stafford running for his life again against the Broncos!

If this continues, this may be the year McShitferBrains heads to the Prime Booth for broadcasting. Prime, who has been offering major incentives to entice McVay away from coaching, has recently let it be known that their interest in McVay is not going away!!

[Retroram52]

Nope, the new return specialist for the Rams has been named and it is ex-Raider WR Alex Bachman!

Sean McVay names new punt returner after Rams waive Xavier Smith

The Rams will go with Alex Bachman as their new punt returner after cutting Smith on Friday!

[Retroram52]

Rams also moved Bachman and Murchison to the active 53-man roster!

Terrance Ferguson's absence will last beyond just this week. The Los Angeles Rams announced on Friday afternoon that Ferguson has been placed on injured reserve. He will be required to miss at least the next four games as he recovers from an ankle injury that he aggravated in last week's loss to the Denver Broncos.

After placing Ferguson on IR and waiving Xavier Smith, the Rams opened up two spots on the 53-man roster. They filled them quickly by signing both Alex Bachman and Larrell Murchison to the active roster from the practice squad. Bachman will be the punt returner moving forward, and Murchison will provide some additional depth with Aaron Donald out due to a back injury.

Injuries have become a real problem for the Rams, with Myles Garrett, Puka Nacua, Jaylen Watson and now Ferguson and Donald all missing time in the first four weeks of the season. They have good depth at several spots, but that depth is now being tested.

Ferguson's injury is particularly problematic with Colby Parkinson questionable to play. He's dealing with shoulder and knee injuries after battling through the pain last week against the Broncos.

The next move should be Emmanuel Forbes out the door!

Glad Xavier Smith waived, his fumble changed the momentum in the Seahawks play off game.

Goodbye

[UnrealTerm04]

Not sure what McVay saw in Smith to have him on active roster after that fumble.... LOL

[Rambunctious]

Rams won the game in Denver, the NFL admitted that call was bad. It was not PI, so as far as I'm concerned the Rams are 2-1 only losing down under when McVay made a bad decision to go the day before the game.
Hopefully this bad call incident will keep these Rams hating referees honest going forward.

Petersen, Bachman. and Lampkin, are being moved off the PS to the active roster since Smith was let go as the punt returner and Stewart is semi injured.

Looks like Ingle will be brought back to the PS after being waived!

The Rams should consider replacing Dotson at RG with Bill Murray and try Trost when he returns at RT sitting McClendon!

Some good news on the weather for game time. Still a drizzle and low 60's with no rain after12:15. Overcast the remainder of the day but dry. I turned down some good seats to watch the game with the gang at home. Too many overly obnoxious Eagles fans to enjoy a game there. Go Rams!!

[Retroram52]

Don’t you know it, Chy and you made the right decision!

[Rambunctious]

LET'S GO! RAMS! WIN

[Retroram52]

And away the Rams go!

[Retroram52]

Stafford has 6 TDs and 4 INTs coming into this game! He is 67 for 111!

[Retroram52]

Defense looks stout early on!

[Retroram52]

Wow, a three-and-outter!!

[UVA_Guy81]

Good start with the defense. Need to keep this up all game!

[Retroram52]

Well Bachman did little on that return!

[UVA_Guy81]

Well Bachman did little on that return!

I feel like if he got there a bit quicker, he might’ve gotten a few yards.

[Retroram52]

Nice pass to Williams for 7 yards!

[Retroram52]

Nice up-the-gut run by Williams!
