Not surprisingly, the greatest QB in the history of the game is still tops.

My only other comment is that I'd take Flacco over that shrimp Drew Brees any day.

Brees is overrated IMO. He's too inconsistent.

Seeing the hype surrounding this system QB is truly laughable.

Wow, I don't think I ever seen "overrated" used with Drew Brees before.
You like who you like, but Flacco over Brees...I think the majority would pass.
I will say...an ugly winner is STILL a winner...I can't take that away from Flacco or his 2012 playoff performance. But goodness Brees has destroyed the league two years in a row now.

Has ESPN ever fully disclosed their QBR? Or is it still a matter of subjective homerism on what they felt was a good or bad play by the QB?

I'd rather go by the subjective homeristic opinions of message board dork.

Awwww, there there little buddy, I didn't say Peyton Manning was bad... it's OK Mr. Sensitive. I just asked if QBR was still essentially a made up statistic.

I know you don't think Peyton is bad. I just find it amusing how message board dork can critique an obvious made up statistic created by former NFL quarterbacks.

If the numbers aren't objective, it's not a statistic.

Since 2010? That's only one season for Peyton.

all statistics can be subjective

No. There can be small edge cases that rely on a scorers judgement, but if the bulk of your numbers are subjective it has minimal value.

maybe to you, but I personally value the opinions of former NFL quarterbacks rather than some boxscorewhore such as yourself.

You don't have to try to pretend it's a statistic when it's clearly not. That doesn't mean you can't use it in a discussion, just that actual statistics have more value.

I said I value the opinions of former NFL quarterbacks....which is exactly what QBR is. And no, actual stats do not hold more value than opinion. Stats can most certainly be smoke-n-mirrors.
