I am not saying they dont know what they are doing... I am saying they dont make their threads based on expert projections of the score.... they base the spread on how people will bet... there is a difference, even if it is minimal...

Not entirely true, bets affect the spread but they start with a spread based on what they think the actual outcome might be, if everyone starts betting one way the spread changes but they absolutely make the spread close enough to what they actually believe the outcome might be to entice people to bet. What sense would it make to make the spread something that would be an easy bet...

Damn I didnt even see your question. It was sammiched between back and forth about a bet between two teams that have a combined zero championships (yep the Browns dont have any so you dont have to rub it in).

The only counter to that is from what I’ve seen... when a big market team like Lakers, Dodgers, Yankees etc have a buzz... Jets being a NY team with a “god qb” in Sam, I’ve seen where Vegas would manipulate the spread to get NY all in... meaning it’s so low and the Viks shit the bed vs the bills and “the jets might win” if the spread is that low... I’ve lost real money that way lol... but I could just be spouting off conspiracy theories so...

Why not just do a basketball one? You can make it a short one, 10 rounds. Should be manageable for two drafts to be going on at once.
