There's no way there's more real fans in LA than there are from their years in St. Louis. LA isn't a sports town. But Hollywood loves a good bangwagon.

Well all the Rams fans I know still like the Rams so I guess that evens things out. The majority of NFL fans in LA are Raider fans.

The issue is the Chargers. They are temporarily playing in a 27,000 seat stadium. I'm not sure how the NFL expects a lot of fans to attend. On the other hand, they are way behind selling those fucking PSLs, so maybe fans are wising up to that bullshit.

Wrong. I grew up in LA county. There are plenty of Rams fans and the fan base locally will easily grow. Problem with LA sports is when the team falters the fans have other entertainment venues to feed their entertainment needs.

If the team is winning the fans will be there.

Chargers are gagging... can't even fill a 30K stadium with their own fans. The Chiefs game to start the year was a sea of red. I can't imagine what they'll do when they move after the RAMS stadium is built. I suppose they would tarp off vast sections of the upper decks with their team's color like the Raider currently do.

Chargers lost, I estimate, between 60-75% of an already flagging fanbase with the move. Best thing they can do is to rebrand like the Boston Patriots did in 1971 and try and encompass a region (SoCal Chargers?). Secondly, they have to win consistently.

The Spanos brothers are probably looking to buff up the value and sell, now that Alex Spanos has recently passed. They are relative paupers compared with the other owners.
