I can't. Medical situation has presented itself, and I will have to beg off on this.
No problem. Sorry to hear.

Why don't we just skip the draft, and just make the team we want... we have really made the draft itself not important at all...
I agree, if we do it as listed, it will be challenging and fun because it's something we haven't done yetWhy? I think this draft is going to be much more difficult than you think
Why? I think this draft is going to be much more difficult than you think
I will trade my 2nd 3rd and 4th round picks for someone's first, 13th, 14th
I don't doubt making our final rosters will be hard... I just don't like how the draft doesn't seem important at all...
I am being serious... there is one GROUPING I really want...
I will give you my 1st rounder
you with the last pick, doesn't help me get the player grouping I want... Hopefully I get it... If I don't then i don't know what i am going to do... Probably cry over spilt milk, which i am infamous for doing...
I can assure you, once this gets going, the draft will be VERY significantI don't doubt making our final rosters will be hard... I just don't like how the draft doesn't seem important at all...
Gotta be a Dad and brag, Erik's first 5 college games, 5 for 11, 6 RBI, 6 runs scored, 2 steals, no errors. Finally get to see them this weekend, playing hookie tomorrow and gonna drive down for a Juco tournament in Sulphur. Looking forward to playing San Jacinto, should see where we are
Haha, we had little Ian and Sammy, my 7 and 6 year olds out practicing yesterday...gonna be little studs lol. Having big brothers kinda helps lolYou know Dash @wlk3 will eventually break all of his records right? While my son Michael will get hurt handing out the water.
An all-time franchise unit draft...Instead of a player, you draft a franchise unit. Player belongs to the franchise that he started the most games for in his career...example, Joe Montana is a Niner, not a Chief...
To qualify a player for a franchise:
First, most games with that team
If he has same number of games, it's franchise the player first played for.
The draft would be 14 rounds and break down like this:
QB/KR - 2
RB - 3
WR/TE - 6
OL - 6
DL - 5
LB - 5
Secondary - 7
Each GM would get to pick two franchises the 7 position groupings, making the draft 14 rounds. Example would be me taking the Steelers LB's in one round and the Giants LB's in another. When we set our rosters, I could pick any four LB's I wanted from those two teams.
- You can ONLY select a maximum of 2 groupings from one franchise.
- There is NO maximum/minimum number of players you can select from your groupings.
Ex: You have Pittsburgh/NY Giants secondary and you have a total number of 6 positions to fill. You may take 5 from one franchise and 1 from the other.
TRADES: You can trade picks OR you can trade units doesn't matter on the groupings.
Once the 14 rounds are over, we would each then set our lineups. Each team would post
Offense - 17
Defense - 17
QB/KR-PR - 2
RB/FB/3rd down RB - 3
4 WR and 2 TE - 6
OL - 6
Front 10
CB's - 4
S's - 3
34 man roster from 14 picked rounds
