NFL FA Contract guesses

This thread is devoted to putting a good guess out there for how much money you think a FA will get. I'll start:

Brees: 6 Years 105 Million.
Nicks: 6 Years 50 Million.
Mario: 6 Years 96 Million.
Vincent Jackson: 5 Years 57 Million.
Dwayne Bowe: 5 Years 54 Million.
Cliff Avril: 6 Years 80 Million.
Carlos Rogers: 4 Years 35 Million (backloaded)

Somebody is seriously over paying for Cliff Avril in that scenario. I think Bowe is the best deal out of the scenarios you listed.

I wa going off of Charles Johnson's contract for Avril; I think Avril will get more money per year than Johnson got. He's developed into a force.

He's definitely a force and someone will probably pay him a big contract, but I don't think he's worth that type of money. He played on a very talented Defensive line and that helped him a lot IMO.

Is he a force, or does he benefit from being a good player on a DL with 3 other great players? He's playing with Vanden Bosch, Suh, and Fairley/Williams. Plus Detroit used a lot of wide 9 with him that allows him to just get after the QB.

I don't think he's as effective without the rest of that DL, and I think he is average at best vs the run.

That's true. Maybe he'll get less than Johnson.

How 'bout Kameron Wimbley? He'll probably get more per season than Wimbley.

6 years & 67 Million for Avril sound more reasonable?

I think he could get 3 years & 10 million.
