Actually, I'm surprised that the situation isn't worse than as it presently stands. The way the season got off to such a rocky start, my fear was we might not make it to the halfway point, yet here we are plugging along. In its shortened season, MLB hit a few covid bumps early on, but finished strong. Let's hope the NFL can do likewise.

NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reports the Dolphins are in COVID-19 protocols after an assistant coach tested positive.​

Friday's practice has been changed to a walkthrough and the Dolphins are undergoing contact tracing. For now, Sunday's game against the Cardinals remains on track to be played.

The Steelers had a staff member test positive for COVID-19 on Saturday.​

They'll have to pass through COVID protocols and contact tracing before playing Sunday. There was concern after Pittsburgh played the Ravens and CB Marlon Humphrey last week, who tested positive for the virus, but this doesn't look related. The Steelers travel to Dallas in Week 9.

Tough break for the Chiefs. Jones is an important piece on that D. They have some other guys to step up but he is probably their best player on that side of the ball.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports Raiders RT Trent Brown is expected to be out "at least a month" due to COVID complications.​

Brown was taken to the hospital after an IV mishap before his game versus the Browns and is now suffering complications because of his recent illness. Hopefully Brown is able to make a full recovery before the end of the season. Sam Young will continue to start in his place. Brandon Parker will back up Young

McDonald tested positive only 24 hours after he played 20 snaps in the Steelers' Week 9 win over the Cowboys. Contract tracing is underway at Pittsburgh's facilities in order to identify those who may qualify as high-risk close contacts. If caught in the next 24 hours, the team's close contacts could still potentially be cleared in time for Week 10 against the Bengals

So doesn't that qualify the entire starting offense as "close contacts" if they shared a huddle together? And he was on the team plane... So might as well bubble the entire team.
