i had the Hawks at 7-8 wins. I went light because i expected more issues on the defense and i NEVER expected the oline to be THIS GOOD with only 1 offseason after Cable was released. WOW just goes to show JUST HOW BAD Cable was. Looks like they could end up with 10 wins.

That and the 49ers were projected to be a solid team this year - with Garappolo... They have had so many injuries this season...

I thought they'd be right around 8-8 plus or minus a game. I also thought the playoffs were a pipe dream due to the strength of the NFC.

The Seahawks are a bit better than I expected.
The rest of the NFC is substantially worse than I expected.

It's possible we will be sitting at 9-6 going into week 17 with the 5 seed locked up, and in that case I am not sure how committed we will be to winning that last game. I think at this point, that's the most likely thing that keeps this team from 10 wins.

Yep, fair point. 11 is still on the table. And if our D gets fueled up on SNF with a rockin crowd like last night and plays another tough game, the Chiefs will have their hands full. KC defense is also pretty lacking and nowhere close to Minn.

Yep, this sums it up for me too.

I thought the NFC North and South were going to be a lot better than both ended up being.

I can see the Hawks giving Carson a rest against AZ with Penny getting the bulk of the carries... It's a great game to see how Penny can do shouldering the work load...

Starting out 1-7, with the way the NY Giants have been playing, they may have a shot at the #6 spot if they win out and finish at 8-8.... They have 2 home games against the Titans/Cowboys and their away game is against the Colts... Dallas may not be playing for anything in week 17 so they could sit some players...

Carolina has to play NO's 2x's so that could be 2 more losses there...

Redskins are done... Their QB play is just awful...

Eagles still have a tough schedule... They play at LA Rams, Houston, 2 games they could lose...

Packers have a shot as well at 5-7-1... Going to go down to the wire for that #6 seed... Should be fun to watch...

Yeah, it'll probably come down to week 17. NO has looked off the last couple weeks, so it wouldn't surprise me much to see them drop one @ CAR. And Eagles....Wentz is out for the season now, right (I was in Vegas all week and haven't paid as much attention)?

I still say the Vikings have the edge due to that tie. Even if they finish with 7 wins, 7-8-1 gets in over 7-9 (and 8-7-1 > 8-8, etc.). All the teams in contention have some tough matchups the last few weeks though.

Russell is 3rd in passer rating at 112.7, just 3 points behind Brees for the top spot. He's also 3rd in TD passes (34) and tied for 3rd for the most completions of 40+.....despite having 19 QBs in the league with more attempts. Unreal.

Started 0-2 twice in the RW era, made the playoffs both times and likely to win 10 games both times.

While Richard Sherman is down there in Santa Clara getting in fist fights on an 11 loss team, I wonder if he's still thinking the Seahawks lost their way?

So I was obviously waaaay wrong on the Rams, but I had the Hawks nailed.

Well I was off all around. Under estimated Rams and Seahawks, over estimated 49ers and Cards. I don’t mind being wrong if that means Seahawks did better then I predicted and always happy to see the 49ers have another shitty season.

Rams 11-5. Not quite the juggernaut they've tried to assemble, but the sheer volume of roster talent and their incumbent status holds them as the team to beat.

Hawks 10-6. D takes a slight step back at least early in the season, but having a top 5 QB helped by a better OL and improved running game makes up the difference well enough.

49ers 7-9. Better but not there yet. Jimmy G's weapons don't impress me a whole lot.

Cards 6-10. Brittle Bradford isn't the answer, so Rosen is probably the starter sooner vs later. I was gonna go 5-11 but gave them 1 more win for David Johnson.

Correct order of finish. Rams looked better in the middle of the season than the end. Jimmy G's injury derailed the Niners' season, and hard to predict a team to be as bad as the Cards were this year.
