Bears
2025
Raiders/Commanders weeks 4 and 6, 2-0
Ravens/Bengals weeks 8-9, 1-1
Eagles/Packers weeks 13-14, 1-1
Browns/Packers weeks 15-16, 2-0
The Browns don't count, and the Packers were twice in three weeks. If they had lost to the Eagles instead, this could have been 2-2. A bye separated the road games at the Raiders/Commanders.
2026
Vikings/Eagles/Jets weeks 2-4
Packers/Falcons weeks 5-6
Buccaneers/Saints weeks 9 and 11
Dolphins/Bills weeks 14-15
Packers/Lions weeks 16-17
It makes sense they split Packers/Falcons. Also, it is interesting that they face the Bills on short rest after Miami and before the Christmas game as well. This seems like a Bears loss to me. The Bears could beat both the Packers and Lions if they're still alive, but I think they're going to slip up in the three game homestand. If they split Bucs/Saints, Bucs make sense given the Bears are traveling back from Seattle on short rest. 4-5 losses I'm thinking and the Bears have other difficult matchups too. They probably struggle to get 10 wins.
Lions
2025
Bengals/Chiefs weeks 5-6, 1-1
Bucs/Vikings weeks 7 and 9, 1-1
Commanders/Eagles weeks 10-11, 1-1
Giants/Packers/Cowboys weeks 12-14, 2-1
Vikings/Bears weeks 17-18, 1-1
On point. The Bucs/Vikings one holds little weight with a bye between, but everything else exactly how I figured. They weren't going undefeated in those other areas.
2026
Panthers/Cardinals weeks 4-5
Packers/Vikings weeks 7-8
Patriots/Bucs/Bears weeks 10-12
Bears/Packers weeks 17-18
In the Lions quest to get back on track, they face some challenges. This team in 2024 knew how to rack on road wins consecutively. That can happen with a weak schedule. Lions have actually not won in Carolina in this millennium. And if the Lions lose a game to the NFC South it's that one first of all. The idea that they go 2-0 across the country never sat well with me. I expect a loss to the Pats or Bucs. I would not be surprised if they lost both before rebounding against the Bears. They face back to back home division clashes against two teams that swept them. While they're good enough to beat both, beating them both in successive weeks? Lions play better in Green Bay and I can see that being a win as I think Lions split weeks 17 and 18. This is 4-5 losses among stretches consisting of all but one division game. Still tough games elsewhere and Lions can't afford to lose more than two.
Packers
2025
Lions/Commanders, 2-0
Browns/Cowboys, 0-1-1
Cardinals/Steelers, 2-0
Panthers/Eagles, 0-2
Broncos/Bears, 0-2
Remember that talk about the Lions? Well, it can be done. However, look what happened right after? 0-2 at home. It cancelled out. I already brought up the three week span against the Bears. The Broncos were playing for the top seed and the Packers were not a better team anyway. Still that made up for 2-0 at home to start.
2026
Vikings/Jets weeks 1-2
Bears/Cowboys weeks 5-6
Rams/Saints weeks 12-13
Bills/Dolphins, weeks 14-15
Texans/Lions weeks 17-18
Early on they're without Parsons and possibly Jacobs. Vikings already give them problems in Minnesota. I have already brought up their history with the Jets and considering they won't have Parsons, Packers are gonna have likely yet another tough out against a legacy inter conference rival. They're going to split the Bears and Cowboys and could even go 0-2. You wouldn't expect the Packers lose at home back to back, but they did in 25. Rams/Saints has split all over it, and Packers taking it out on the Saints. Bills/Packers? they could win here. The Bills have a tough schedule at this point which just may help GB finally beat a quality opponent. Teams have recently won or lost successively to the Bills and Dolphins, so Packers winning both won't be surprising. And it's not even a question against Miami. Texans and Lions are a tough way to close out home. Packers have owned Texans, but their defense could give them trouble. Still, I think Packers are probably splitting unless they are eliminated or resting starters too early again. It's 4-5 losses here, and I'm strongly leaning 5. They may lose one or two more.
Vikings
2025
Falcons/Bengals weeks 2-3, 1-1
Steelers/Browns weeks 4-5, 1-1
Chargers/Lions 8-9, 1-1
Ravens/Bears 10-11, 0-2
Packers/Seahawks 12-13, 0-2
Cowboys/Giants 15-16, 2-0
Lions/Packers 17-18, 2-0
They went 0-2 at home against Ravens and Bears which was unlikely. They made up for it with a 2-0 home division record to close out. The Packers and Seahawks were just about an obvious 0-2 that, again, was made up for, by the wins at Dallas and NJ.
2026
Bears/Bucs weeks 2-3
Packers/49ers weeks 10-11
Falcons/Panthers weeks 12-13
Lions/Commanders weeks 15-16
The one that stands out most is at Green Bay and against the 49ers in Mexico City. While that could be 0-2, I'm not sold on SF too much and they don't match up well against the Vikings historically. Still, it's a tough one to decide. I think the Vikings, moreso than the Packers, lose at home to the Falcons or Panthers. Every time a team plays them beside each other, they split. They have issues with the Bucs in Tampa, but I'm expecting the Vikings to beat the Bears before that tbh as they have been good in Soldier field. If they lose at Detroit week 8, they'll win week 15(maybe), and the Vikings should beat the Commanders who probably will have nothing to play for. I see 3-4 losses here giving them the benefit of the doubt against Detroit or Tampa Bay. They have 5 more tough games elsewhere against the likes of the Patriots, Bills, Colts, Bears, and Packers and they probably take two at most.
