We have an NFC West thread, and I had an NFC east comment, so I figured I'm make an NFC East thread rather than just some random note...

NY Giants' DL depth:

Starting 4: JPP, Linval Joseph, Cullen Jenkins, J. Tuck

Backup DE: Demontre Moore

Backup DTs: Mike Patterson, Shaun Rogers, Marvin Austin and John Hankins!

This is why I say the Giants are still the Niners' biggest obstacle.

certainly a formidable line, but not sure a DL is enough to justify a team as the "biggest obstacle"?

in any case, we need to win the West before being concerned with the Giants. to ME, any one of those West games - including Arizona - is a bigger obstacle than NY.
