Speaks to Tomlin. I really liked Pickens at Georgia and wanted us to draft him. Like chillrab said, it's a risk, but if it works it's a great trade for Dallas.

My problem is with the mentality that if the Commanders make a trade or sign a free agent, its the best move of the offseason and will be a homerun.

If the Cowboys, Eagles, or Giants make the same move, its a diaster and they are a joke.

A few posters here are obsessed with the Cowboys. Dallas could trade for Patrick Mahomes and give up a 2078 7th round pick and the trade would be criticized. Country would lead the charge.

I went over to the main board, and the Pitt fans are saying he is a locker room cancer and is a head case. Didnt get along with Tomlin. Why would Peters want to bring in someone like that here? Dallas is desperate they took the shot. Of course, he has the talent and could get his head straight.

The HogsHaven polls you bring up to reinforce your opinion are good examples. Most of the polls are embarassing and show a complete detachment from reality.

I saw some Texan fan comments about Tunsil as well. Some of them were glad to see him go due to his decline in play, penalities, age, and desire to cash in on another payday.

Yes, I dont think AP would even have thought of it b/c of the behavior issues b/c the compensation is very cheap for that type player at his age.

To clarify, if DAL or Philly would have traded for Tunsil (same package), would you be singing their praises like you did when he was traded here?

Also, Lattimore was arrested with a stolen gun in 2021 and was on probabtion for a year. Why did Peters trade for him if he had legal trouble?

Doesn't matter if its Peters, Rivera, or Cerrato...any transaction is a good one and will work out. Draft picks are steals, trades are one-sided, and free agents take less money to come here or stay.

I was told Jamin Davis was a steal and that everybody wanted him. Same with Forbes.

Yes, he is a good player. Im not critical of the Cowboys never said that. I was talking to sty about he was traded b/c of behavoiral issues not talent.
