Have you guys checked out the new uniforms for the upcoming season yet? The Official Web Site - 2013-14 San Jose Sharks jersey

Being somewhat of a hockey traditionalist, I like the simpler look. There are less color variations and most importantly, LESS ORANGE. Perhaps John Torotra's (the new COO) first idea to boost revenue and make the Sharks profitable?

Kinda plain. Almost like practice jerseys. Lose the small number on the front right. What about a black one or third jersey? Maybe orange?

Whoever designed these needs to get fired ASAP... Basically SJ & Dallas switched jersey designs. Dallas upgraded and took a badass traditional jersey layout, while SJ jumped on the chance to take Dallas old garbage design and claim the award for Worst Jersey in the NHL... SJ went from top 2 (With chicago) to DEAD LAST with the retarded ass move... I mean honestly im racking my brain to try & think of design I think is uglier and while my answer would always be Dallas, well they changed theirs... Only 2 even close are flordias red design and minns red design... But this is by far worse... Its a poor mans been league jersey because guys only want to pay $20 a jersey instead of getting the fancy tradition design for $100 in league play...

Ive been embarasse to be a SJ fan before, but one thing bout them, no matter how bad they sucked, they always looked great appearce wise on the ice (cept when they worn the black ice jerseys) but now, we will have bad hockey, with a brutally painful nightgown design jersey...

Whoever made this, needs to lose their job STAT

Now if they were going to change the design up -- which IMO that thought NEVER shouldve crossed anyones mind, they shouldve went with this... Now Im not a fan of black jerseys, but im even less of a fan of dresses, i mean jerseys with no bottom stripes... SJ seems to love their black jerseys more than the teal... so they really shouldve went with this design as soon as "jersey change" thought poped in anyones head:

These look nice and sharp, even though I liked their other ones too. I wish the Preds would come up with something simple like this.

wow, my post got pulled?? lol im not retyping it, but anyway Yes dallas did upgrade. this is hockey not football.. they threw out their football jersesy and SJ picked them up out the garbage & dyed them teal.... Dallas jersey design is nice, traditional and has their original green as a main color. The logo isnt great, the STARS logo wasnt even the logo on the jersey so yes, the new D is an upgrade over the word Dallas...

Anyway my rant on my post that got delete was - the OFFICAL stated reason for the jersey change was weigh reduction to increase preformance... Apparently waist stripes were to heavy for Jumbo, Marleau & company to carry around... They also said they waited to minic the playoff success they have wearing the black jerseys by making all the jersey similar.. Well to my knowledge, they havnt had success, and their play in the playoffs always drops comepared to the regular season when they are wearing those heavy stripe burdening teal jerseys...

Anyway this just shows DWil & compay are bigger idiots than I already assumed... Chicago & Boston won cups lugging around those heavy stripes & dawning those preformance limited jersey, yet the wizards behind this organization says that eliminating those and the black shoulder (I didnt know different color materials weighed more than others) & collars will increase performance by reducing weight.. Ummm riiiiiii-gggghhhhhtt ... In other news, this "reasoning" completely goes out the window since adding a lace neck, adds weight over a regular collar...

Most teams try to improve preformance and gain playoff success buy UPGRADING the ROSTER... Not changing the jerseys... Good to know that with the weigh reduction, we will now have a super faster team of Patrick Kanes.... Wait, OMG mind blown - could you imagine is Kane dawned one of these new weight reduced jerseys!??! He would be faster than THE FLASH...

Since it's just the sweater and not the logo I really don't care enough to hate it as much as Likewall apparently does but it's definitely too plain for my liking.

Sharks always have nice jerseys, hard to go wrong with that color scheme, but I would've kept the stripe at the bottom of the jersey. Almost looks like a practice jersey without the striping at the bottom.
