This is now the soft part of the schedule.....

Cleveland
@Washington
@Jacksonville
Miami
@Cleveland

Cleveland and Miami both have quarterbacks that will struggle even against our gang of misfit corners. Washington looked impressive last week, so this game might not be fun.

Anyway, if we don't win at least three of these games, we might be looking at 4 win season.

we will win a few games here with our "ground and pound" as we try to keep our defense off the field. we'll win by 3, and we'll lose a few of these as well, since this strategy often keeps the score too close.

I don't think we'll beat the Redskins. Other games should all be wins (hopefully not our last of the season)

Surely we're better than winning 4 games this season. :madgrin:

I think we win no more than 4 games. The 2010 team was MUCH better and only won 4.

I put in a FF waiver claim for the Bengals defense this week.

I have no doubt Weeden will throw them the ball. Whether or not they catch it is another story.

I wouldn't go as far as putting a waiver claim for the Bengals D.

I think it's just as likely Weeden "breaks out" on Sunday.

I'll take my chances there. I caught parts of that game and Weeden looked awful.. as bad as the atrocious stat line indicates...

he'll be better against a soft secondary, but I think he'll still struggle enough to make the Bengals a smart play

These are all crappy teams...no doubt. That being said I dont see the Bengals blowing anybody out. They're not that type of team...nor does the HC go for the throat when they get the lead. Even last year they had to scratch and claw to beat Curtis Painter and the Colts at home. I think they go 3-2...to have any notion of a winning record they need to take at least 4 of those games. After that stretch hopefully they have Kirkpatrick (and he can cover somebody) plus a healthy dunlap and Moch as a situational pass rusher.

There might be better odds of me winning the presidential election as a third party candidate than these things happening.

Well, you would be running against a mormon and a black guy whose name rhymes with 'Osama'

If you look at the PHI-CLE game, everyone is saying "Vick is washed up"

I think its a combination of CLE being better than everyone thought and Vick being a little older and out of game shape. CLE is no longer a push over, we better get used to it.

I personally think they could lose every one of them and would not be shocked if they did.

I don't think Weeden is as bad as he looked. The Eagles have a very good secondary, unlike us. On the flip side though, the Browns will not have Haden, so I don't expect their defense to hold up as it did against the Eagles.

would have to figure out who his backup is.

I think it would be pretty tough to have that poor of a game again. Twelve of 35 with 4 picks? That said, he's a rookie and he has no security blanket. When Dalton got in trouble last year, he'd just throw the ball in the air and pray for AJ to bail him out. Cleveland doesn't have that sort of luxury.

I agree that Haden is a huge loss..... There pass defense (with Haden) was tough last year and they made life miserable for Vick.
