Franklin spoke to media after open practce yesterday and had some interesting things to say. Sunds like Menet is starting at center now with McGovern at guard. i LOVE this move. menet is so athletic and Connor can be a monster at OG. OL with the #1's right now Wright-Connor-Menet-Gonzo-Bates. Fries/Wright only real battle for starting spot.
Also said Jahan Dotson is looking VERY good, Micah is doing well at LB, said you'd never know he hadn't played there before. Manny is looking good, Lamont adjusting well at safety (that could be huge) and the kickers are doing well. Hearing very good things on Pinegar and Vlad so fr. Can't imagine a scenario where Pinegar doesn't get the nod if its close.
