Newly aquired Harrison will not pitch this season.

The Phillies have announced that Harrison will need healing from his injury. Actually the Doctors have said that that there is only a 20% chance that he will be able to pitch again, ever! The Phillies will have to pay him 13 million dollars per year in 2016 and 2017. That means the Rangers got Hamels for around 10 million dollars per year for the next two years plus another 9 million in cash to offset the 3rd year. Wow!

There had to be a few handies for amaro included in the deal that haven't been reported yet. Maybe a bj to be named later. We helped out the rangers greatly in this deal. Put them in position to contend for it all and took on their dead weight too.

Hamels is the most valuable pitcher in the entire league for those prices. And they have him for 3 years at those cheap prices. Holy shit. Rangers got a steal here.
