After the road trip got off to a crappy start by getting swept in LA last week, the Mets went up to SF, swept the Giants..and then to Miami where they took 2 of 3 from the fish to end the trip 5-5.

That ties the Mets' franchise record for first-inning runs over an eight-game span, set in 1970.
